Network Education Lead

Lauren is a dual trained paediatric and adult nurse with 39 years experience and at a senior level for over 25 years. Working in various clinical specialities including PICU, Cardiac specialist PICU, specialist surgery and community practice as a SCCN SPQ in complex care before moving into education. Lauren has been a nurse educator for over 6 years, achieving her PGCE in 2021 and is passionate about education and supporting staff within healthcare. Lauren joined the ODN in 2022 and has in recent years gained her Level 2 counselling course and is a new PNA for the network. She has been volunteering as a school Governor for nearly 14 years and has been the Chair of Governors for 6 years, helping to support her local community and school.
