Working together to improve care and outcomes for children and young people

Thames Valley and Wessex Children and Young People Strategic Network is a group of Operational Delivery Networks that aim to bring together clinicians, commissioners,  managers, patients and families to improve the care and outcomes for children and young people across Thames Valley and Wessex. We also collaborate closely with colleagues in NHS England and other operational delivery networks across the country.

Our Operational Delivery Networks have oversight of the care of children and young people from 0-18 years with a range of different health needs (with the exception of our Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Network which covers young people 16-25 years and our Congenital Heart Disease Network which is all ages). Whilst each network has its own team and annual workplan, we work closely with each other to meet many of our shared challenges and to also ensure that we learn from one another.
