Clinical Director

Iain Macintosh MSc, FRCPCH, FFICM is the Director of Thames Valley and Wessex Paediatric ODNs. Previously he had the role of Paediatric Critical Care Lead for 6 years. He has also been a PICU Consultant at University Hospital Southampton for more than 20 years and the Clinical Director for 8 of those. He has therefore seen and participated in the expansion of paediatric services here and witnessed the greater cooperation between Thames Valley and Wessex and the improvement in quality and delivery that this has brought.
