Surgery in Children Virtual Study Day

The Surgery in Children Annual Virtual Study day is open to all MDT members working in the Thames Valley & Wessex ODN and South West ODN. We will follow the surgical journey of two patient’s over the day covering a range of surgical care topics.

This year’s study day will run from 9am to 4:30pm on Teams and include:

• Autism Masking
• GIRFT Acute Abdominal Pain Pathway
• Appendicitis surgical techniques and post-op care
• Anaesthesia & Sip-til-Send
• Penile Circumcision
• Post-op nausea and vomiting
