Since 2007, I have worked as a Consultant Paediatrician at Hampshire Hospitals, with a particular interest in paediatric oncology. During this time, I have undertaken a range of leadership roles, including Clinical Director for Paediatrics, College Tutor and I am a Freedom to Speak Up Guardian.
I completed my undergraduate training in London before beginning my paediatric career in Scotland at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow. I subsequently returned to the south of England to undertake registrar training in Wessex, where I later took up a substantive consultant post.
More recently, I have taken on the role of Co-Lead for Children’s Cancer within the Thames Valley and Wessex Children’s Cancer Network. I am passionate about advocating for general paediatrics within the district general hospital setting and ensuring high-quality, integrated care for children and young people.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking—ideally with a well-earned pub stop along the way, and gardening.
