Network Manager – Interim

Katy is an Operational Delivery Network Manager across Children and Young People’s services, providing system‑level leadership for Paediatric Neurosciences, Children’s Cancer, and Teenage and Young Adult Cancer networks. She is a senior nurse leader with a background in Paediatric Critical Care and extensive experience across organisational, regional, and national healthcare systems.

Katy brings a strong focus on staff wellbeing alongside patient and family experience. In paediatric critical care, she introduced a conflict management framework to support effective clinician–family communication and established a Family Liaison and Bereavement Lead Nurse Service, strengthening compassionate, coordinated support for families.

She has also operated at regional and system levels as PNA Regional Advisor for NHS England South-East, leading programmes aligned to national workforce, quality, and patient safety priorities. Her approach is grounded in PNA principles, with a strong commitment to compassionate leadership, partnership working, and improved outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
