What we do
Operational Delivery Networks (ODNs) are acknowledged as being a successful way to achieving strategic change within the NHS, with an aim of bringing different groups of people together from across a wide geographical area to improve care and outcomes for patients. Operational Delivery Networks are sometimes referred to as clinical networks.Â
The main functions of ODNs are to manage patient pathways and ensure that patients receive high quality care in the right place as close to home as possible. ODNs do this though collaboration with clinicians, hospital management teams, regional commissioners, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), other ODNs, patients and their families.
Thames Valley and Wessex Children and Young People Strategic Network is the umbrella term for a number of Operational Delivery Networks/Clinical Networks that oversee the care of children and young people across Thames Valley and Wessex.
